True Nature - Trauma-Informed Yoga and Psychotherapy in Wales

Louise Thorndycraft, MA Psychotherapy, BA Hons, BWYDip, MNCPS (ACC.)

Thanks for visiting my website. I hope the information you find here will help you decide if my approach is a good fit for you. I offer counselling and psychotherapy and one to one yoga, both online and face to face. I also offer a weekly online group yoga session. I am based near Whitland in Carmarthenshire.

Since 2007, I have taught yoga therapeutically in a wide variety of community settings with diverse client groups. In 2016, I completed trauma sensitive yoga training to enhance my ability to support people with complex trauma histories. My psychotherapy training enables me to work with clients at depth, integrating embodiment practices with the key theories of somatic psychology and recent discoveries about the relational brain.

Research for my Masters degree in psychotherapy focused on the efficacy of somatic psychotherapies for adult survivors of developmental trauma.
